Exports and the event data API

Print results, download CSV, and give tracking or club websites a live feed of your event.

Every published event can be read in three ways besides its web pages: printable results, CSV files, and a JSON feed for software.

Printable results

The results page has a printable view sized for A4 and Letter, for the notice board ashore and the prize-giving.

CSV

Anyone can download the entry list and the latest published results as CSV from the event data API (below), one row per boat per race, ready for a spreadsheet. The race office's Reports tab has the organizer's own sheets and exports: the scratch sheet, the roster with crew, RC and OCS sheets, check-in, and a Sailwave-compatible CSV.

The event data API

The same data is available as JSON at https://saildex.com/api/event-data/v0/events/<event>, where <event> is the event's address or id. No key and no account are needed. A tracking provider, a navigation program on board, or the club's own website can read the entry list and the latest published results without scraping a page.

The feed serves only what is public on the event page. It never includes email addresses, phone numbers or registration answers. See the event data API reference for every endpoint and field.
