65 Legal Liability and Costs

Liability for damage is a matter for national prescriptions, not the protest committee; measurement costs from class protests usually fall on the losing party.

A protest committee decides rule breaches and scores. It does not award money. Claims for repair bills and other damages go through whatever process the national authority's prescription sets out, or through the ordinary courts or insurers. Measurement costs arising from a class-rule protest are paid by the unsuccessful party unless the committee decides otherwise.

There are no rules 66 to 68 in the 2025–2028 book.
