76 Exclusion of Boats or Competitors

An organizer may reject an entry or exclude a competitor before the first race after receiving the entry, with a proper reason.

The organizing authority or race committee may reject or cancel an entry, or exclude a competitor, if it does so before the start of the first race after the entry arrived and states a proper reason (in writing on request). It cannot do so because of advertising that complies with the Advertising Code, or at world and continental championships for entries within quota. A boat or competitor who thinks the decision was improper can request redress.
