A dash means our research did not establish the answer either way, not that the product lacks it. Sources: each vendor's public product pages and help centre, the US Sailing comparison of scoring programs, and, for YachtScoring, the screens and labels in its web application. Products change; check with the vendor before you decide. Regatta Network is described below rather than in the table, because too few of its features could be confirmed from public pages.

02

Where each one is strongest

YachtScoring

The deepest handicap coverage for US keelboat racing, race-specific time-on-time tables, tracker ids per boat, monitor displays, and SMS to competitors.

Regatta Network

Registration that remembers a competitor's last entry, membership checks, and modules for clubs that manage memberships alongside racing.

Clubspot

Native apps, e-signature waivers, qualifying and final rounds for one-design fleets, and check-out and check-in ashore with Regatta Toolbox.

Sailwave

The broadest scoring engine of any of them, offline on a laptop, including British handicap systems, user-defined ratings and timing-device import.

What Saildex Regattas adds

It is free for organizers and competitors, with no payments of any kind. It writes the notice of race and sailing instructions from the event setup. It scores under Appendix A and the discipline appendices B to F, including medal races and qualifying and final series, alongside the handicap systems US fleets use. Protest decisions go straight to the scorer as scoring cases.

And every event becomes part of Saildex: its final results join the archive and its sailors' records, next to the results archived from the other systems on this page.
